What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a method for announcing and distributing news from a website. Every RSS application is able to search for such items and displays new entries from various websites in simplified form.
If you are subscribed to an RSS-Feed, new entries from a website are highlighted. A short description is shown for each entry; if you would like to get more details on an entry, you will be redirected to the complete article on the corresponding website.
