Innovation Union Scoreboard 2010

On 1 February, the Commission has launched its new (Research and) Innovation Union Scoreboard 2010. The IUS assembles 25 single indicators, for the first time combining research and innovation. The IUS henceforth replaces the European Innovation Scoreboard (of 28 innovation indicators). Under the new scoreboard, Austria is in 7th position EU-wide, among the innovation followers.
