The European Research Council - Meeting the Challenge of World Class Excellence

In its Communication, the Commission sets out its strategy to ensure the long-term success of the European Research Council. It is a twofold approach focused on streamlining the ERC's organisation and improving its efficiency. The ERC has now been operating for two and a half years, and a review of its structures and mechanisms was carried out recently.
