On 28 September 2011, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research - in cooperation with the Austrian Research Promotion Agency - organised a conference on "Joint Programming" in Vienna.
Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) aim at supporting the coordination of national and European research programmes. This conference provided stakeholders with information on
- current developments from the European Commission's point of view,
- the current status of all ten JPIs,
- thematic issues and
- possibilities for the participation of Austrian researchers in JPIs.
