Austrian Climate Research Programme

The Austrian Climate Research Programme (ACRP) was developed in 2008 by the Klima- und Energiefonds (Austrian Climate and Energy Fund) set up by the Federal Government. The ACRP aims at promoting climate and energy research on a broad basis. Through the ACRP, the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund, supports a broad range of research issues aiming at exploring climate change impacts in Austria und at contributing to building up competence in climate research which is both reputable and relevant to policies.

The thematic fields covered by the first ACRP Call are the following:

• Climate and Climate Impacts
• Risk Management
• Integrated Assessment of Climate, Energy and the Economy
• Climate Policy
