FWF Stand-alone Projects

Support for stand-alone projects is the FWF's most flexible and most frequently requested funding programme. Its goal is funding individual research projects not oriented towards financial profit. High scientific quality measured on an international scale is required. The target group are scientists of any discipline who are working in Austria. Funds are allocated by the FWF Board, based on an international review process.
