International Evaluation of Funding and Management of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC)
NSFC has played a central role in the development of basic research and the science system in China over the past 25 years. This independent evaluation aims to assess its achievements during that period. The evaluation panel's findings and recommendations cover its strategic positioning in the Chinese research and innovation system, its performance, extent of internationalisation, funding instruments, management and administration.
