EC publishes recent H2020 call evaluation results
The European Commission (EC) has published several "flash call infos" on the outcome of recent calls under Horizon 2020. These calls, all of which had closed on 14 February 2017, were evaluated by REA, the Research Executive Agency, together with the EC:
- Sustainable Food Security – Resilient and resource-efficient value chains (single-stage call): The various topics received a total of 139 proposals, of which 70 were above threshold, requesting a total budget of € 367.5 million (the total budget available is € 112.57 million).
- Rural Renaissance - Fostering innovation and business opportunities (single-stage call): A total of 62 proposals were submitted for the four different topics of this call. 37 of them were above threshold, requesting a budget of € 94.4 million (the budget available is € 28 million).
- Blue Growth - Demonstrating an ocean of opportunities (single-stage call): Seven different topics received a total of 54 proposals, of which 29 were above threshold, requesting a budget of € 159.7 million (the budget available is 48.4 million).
- Bio-based innovation for sustainable goods and services - Supporting the development of a European Bioeconomy (single-stage call): A total of 25 proposals was submitted for three different topics. 13 of these were above threshold, requesting a budget of € 52 million (the total budget available is 14.47 million).
The first grant agreements are expected to be signed by October 2017.
