EC publishes study on intersectoral mobility among researchers
In March 2018 the European Commission published its Study on Fostering Industrial Talents in Research at European Level.
The authors of the study focused on the question whether there is scope for further EU-level initiatives to increase intersectoral mobility (ISM), focusing on the mobility of academic and industrial researchers, academics and senior people from industry.
More specifically, the study looks at existing material and the level of intersectoral mobility among researchers in the 28 Member States of the EU, where it identifies examples of good practices, but also looks at the barriers for ISM of researchers. Moreover, recommendations of what form possible further EU-level interventions might take are presented.
