MLE on Widening Participation and MLE on Innovation-related Public Procurement publish reports
The reports of two Mutual Learning Exercises (MLEs) have been published on the European Commission's Research and Innovation Observatory (RIO) website.
The MLE on National Practices in Widening Participation and Strengthening Synergies has published its Summary Report. The MLE was carried out in 2017-2018 by 12 Member States (including one Observer) and one associate country. It reviewed policy initiatives designed to widen participation in the EU’s Framework Programmes and realise synergies between activities supported by European Structural Investment Funds (ESIF) and Horizon 2020. The report details the most important policy lessons for national and regional policymakers and administrators that emerged from the MLE review. It also provides examples of practices deployed by some Member and Associated States, as well as associated background documents.
The MLE on Innovation-related Public Procurement has published its Final Report. The MLE was carried out from January 2017 to May 2018 by 13 EU Member States and two associate countries. The report report summarises the lessons the MLE team drew from the exercise and makes a number of recommendations to those considering improving their innovation-related procurement policies. Four topic-oriented reports are published in parallel, presenting the evidence and analysis underlying this report. They include detailed data, evidence, experiences and insights provided by the participating countries on the status of their respective innovation procurement-related approaches.TOP
