EIT issues statement on EIT Manufacturing and support for beneficiaries
On 23 April 2026, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) issued a statement on EIT Manufacturing, stating that the claims process is now open for beneficiaries.
Following the opening of judicial liquidation proceedings concerning EIT Manufacturing ASBL, a court-appointed liquidator has been designated to oversee the process. Beneficiaries of EIT Manufacturing ASBL are invited to submit their claims within two months (for organisations domiciled in France) or four months (for organisations domiciled outside France) from 15 April 2026. Substantiated claims together with supporting documents should be submitted the appointed liquidator: BASSE Christophe, 1 rue René Cassin, 91033 EVRY-COURCOURONNES, France.
The EIT statement points out that while liabilities towards beneficiaries rest with EIT Manufacturing ASBL, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) fully cooperates with the appointed judicial administrator responsible for the liquidation and financial settlements, in full respect of applicable legal procedures, with a view to facilitating the settlement of claims towards EIT Manufacturing ASBL for beneficiaries.
Furthermore, the EIT states that it is "fully aware of the urgency to bring clarity and will keep beneficiaries informed in a timely manner and provide more information as soon as they are available. The EIT remains committed to supporting innovation and skills in Europe’s manufacturing sector".
