Conclusions on Coordinated Plan on AI

At its meeting on 18 February 2019, the Council Competitiveness (Internal Market and Industry) adopted Conclusions on the Coordinated Plan on the Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Made in Europe. The Council thus intends to underline the crucial importance of fostering the development and use of artificial intelligence in Europe by increasing investment, reinforcing excellence in artificial intelligence technologies and applications, and strengthening research and innovation collaboration between industry and academia in this field.
